These photographs form part of a body of work tentatively titled "Estuaries and Stars." They were made on Lewes Beach, Delaware at low tide and nearby in an enclave at the tip (the Point) of Cape Henlopen State Park where the bay meets the ocean. Feelings of "after" and "absence" permeate the work. Life and death mingle in the tide pools while small, gentle, undulating waves create patterns seen in the night sky as well. Curiosity and mystery guide us as we emerge onto a new, unfamiliar shore.
